アメリカから日本文化の体験に来られました。

米国・新日系人招聘プログラム（外務省招聘事業）により全米各地から選抜された五人の有望な高校生が日本の文化の体験や人々との交流目的で日本を訪れています。その一環として昨年に引き続き、当企画室で茶道体験をされました。体験後は代表者が自分たちの祖先の文化をを誇りに思うと同時に中々触れ難い体験ができて嬉しかったと感謝の言葉を述べていただき、担当スタッフは大いに感激いたしました。こうした体験・交流こそが我がNPOの目的とするところであり、一層の励みとなりました。有難うございました。
We are very proud and greatly appreciate that five high school students selected from the Japanese American communities throughout the United States, visited our tea room and experienced tea ceremony. After enjoying wagashi and maccha, one of them gave us their thanks of expeiencing Japanese traditional performing art as the decendants of Japanese Americans. We do hope they will be a big bridge between two countries
